By using the website or service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
osim provides digital access to real UK mobile numbers backed by physical SIM cards for receiving SMS messages and verification codes. Website: https://dev.osim.cc/ For privacy-related questions, contact: ac3oot@gmail.com For the purposes of applicable UK data-protection law, the operator of osim is the controller of personal information collected through the website, except where another organisation independently determines how information is processed.
Information We Collect
We may collect information that you provide directly, including name, email address, billing information, order details, support requests, screenshots, error messages, messages sent to us, service preferences, assigned-number information, information supplied during remote assistance, and any other information you choose to provide.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Depending on the payment method, those providers may collect card details, billing address, transaction identifiers, fraud-prevention information, payment status, device data, and IP data. We do not normally store full payment-card details on our own systems. Payment providers process data under their own privacy policies.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit or use the website, we may automatically collect IP address, browser type, browser version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time and date of access, session activity, approximate geographic region, cookie identifiers, language preferences, technical logs, and security or fraud-detection signals. This information may be collected through server logs, cookies, analytics tools, security tools, payment systems, WordPress plugins, and content-delivery services.
Order and Service Data
When an order is placed, we may retain order number, customer email address, product purchased, access duration, payment status, assigned UK number, mobile network, License Key reference, activation time, expiry time, fulfilment status, replacement history, support history, and refund or dispute records. This information is used for service delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, record keeping, legal compliance, service improvement, and dispute resolution.
SMS Data
To provide the service, we may process SMS messages received by the assigned number. SMS data may include sender number or sender name, message content, verification codes, message timestamp, receiving number, mobile network, and delivery metadata. SMS data is processed solely to provide the purchased service, maintain the access page, enable authorised forwarding, troubleshoot delivery, and protect the system. Customers must not use the service to receive or process messages unlawfully.
Access Keys and Private SMS URLs
We generate access credentials that allow customers to view SMS messages associated with an assigned number. These credentials may include License Key, Private SMS Access URL, assigned-number reference, session token, and expiry information. Customers are responsible for keeping access details confidential. Anyone who obtains valid access credentials may be able to view associated SMS messages. We may log access attempts for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, abuse detection, and operational monitoring.
Email Communications
We may use email to send order confirmations, access details, License Keys, SMS-forwarding notifications, support replies, security notices, service updates, policy updates, and transactional messages. Email delivery may be handled by external email-service providers. Those providers may process email address, message content, delivery status, open or bounce data, and technical metadata.
Cookies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning, maintain sessions, remember preferences, process checkout, prevent fraud, measure site usage, improve performance, support language selection, analyse traffic, and protect forms or accounts. Cookies may include essential cookies, functional cookies, analytics cookies, security cookies, and payment-related cookies. Where legally required, non-essential cookies will be used only after appropriate consent.
Analytics and Performance
We may use analytics and monitoring tools to understand website traffic, page performance, user journeys, technical failures, device categories, browser compatibility, conversion activity, and security events. Analytics data may be aggregated or pseudonymised where practical.
Fraud Prevention and Security
We may process information to detect suspicious orders, prevent unauthorised access, identify abuse, block malicious traffic, investigate fraud, enforce service terms, protect users, and maintain system integrity. This may include processing IP address, device information, order history, access activity, payment status, behavioural patterns, and security logs.
Remote Assistance
Remote assistance is optional. Where a customer requests remote assistance, the customer may voluntarily provide account username, account password, temporary access code, screenshots, device information, error messages, or other credentials necessary for the requested task. By providing such information, the customer authorises us to use it only for the requested support purpose. Credentials should not be retained longer than reasonably necessary. Customers should change passwords after support where appropriate. We do not guarantee that remote assistance will resolve restrictions imposed by third-party platforms.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to process orders, deliver assigned numbers, generate License Keys, provide private SMS access, send transactional emails, forward SMS where configured, provide customer support, diagnose delivery problems, prevent fraud and abuse, improve website performance, maintain security, keep financial and compliance records, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, meet legal obligations, and respond to lawful requests.
Legal Bases for Processing
Under UK data-protection law, we may rely on contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent. Contract processing may be necessary to accept and fulfil an order, assign a number, provide SMS access, supply support, and manage the subscription. Legitimate interests may include fraud prevention, service security, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, business administration, service improvement, and defending legal claims. Legal obligation may require processing for tax requirements, accounting rules, fraud investigations, court orders, regulatory obligations, and lawful authority requests. Consent may be used for non-essential cookies, optional marketing, certain remote-assistance activities, and other processing where consent is legally required. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only where reasonably necessary with payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, analytics providers, security and fraud-prevention services, cloud infrastructure providers, customer-support tools, professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, and business purchasers in the event of a sale or restructuring. Service providers are expected to process information only for authorised purposes and with appropriate safeguards.
Third-Party Platforms
Customers may use the assigned number with third-party platforms. Those platforms independently control their own processing of personal information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of social networks, marketplaces, banks, survey platforms, applications, registration services, messaging services, or other external websites. Customers should review the privacy policies of those services separately.
International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will use appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information. Order and payment records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Support messages and troubleshooting records may be retained for a reasonable period to resolve issues, improve service, and defend claims. SMS messages may be retained only for the period required to provide the active service and any limited operational backup period. The exact SMS retention period may vary according to product type, subscription duration, system configuration, backup cycles, legal requirements, and security incidents. Messages may be deleted after access expires and may not be recoverable. Access and security logs may be retained for fraud prevention, system monitoring, and legal compliance. Sensitive credentials provided for remote assistance should not be retained longer than necessary to complete the requested task.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, which may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, logging, security monitoring, software updates, backup controls, firewall and abuse protection, and staff or contractor confidentiality controls. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting their License Key, Private SMS Access URL, email account, and any related credentials.
Your Rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, request correction, request deletion, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, request data portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Requests for Access or Deletion
Privacy requests should be sent to ac3oot@gmail.com. Please include enough information to identify the relevant order or account. We may ask for order number, email address used at checkout, assigned number, proof of identity, or other information necessary to verify the request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children
The service is not intended for children. Customers must be legally capable of entering into a contract or must use the service with appropriate parental or guardian authorisation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
Automated Decision-Making
We may use automated signals to identify fraud, abuse, suspicious payments, malicious traffic, and repeated unauthorised activity. These systems may contribute to an order being reviewed, delayed, rejected, or blocked. Where required by law, you may request human review of a decision that produces significant legal or similarly significant effects.
Data Breaches
Where a personal-data breach creates a risk to individuals, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain the incident, reduce harm, notify relevant authorities where required, and notify affected individuals where legally required.
